Anyone diagnose this, video inside...

Fast forward to 9:20.

This smoke happened when at cadwell. Weird because the smoke comes from drivers side at the rear somewhere not the exhaust side! Car doesn't smoke in normal use and runs 100% and carried on doing for numerous laps and a drive home after this.

Just wondered if anyone had any idea what could have caused this.

Sticking caliper at a guess. Checked your brake lines?

P.s that hairdresser wouldn't let me past all night. Think he was in the toilet for the briefing! Let faster cars and drivers past...

No but will do. You think it locked up? someone said about oil surge causing smoke? I'm not so sure.

Oil surge? I'd check the rear brakes.

I'd check the brakes too. Looks like the rear locked under hard braking. Because it's the rear, you wouldn't overly notice fade etc as 90 per cent or so is done through the front.
