Anyone failed MOT because of noisey exhaust?

Has anyone failed their MOT test because of their exhaust being to noisey?

There is no noise level test done as part of an MOT. But you could be failed if the tester thought your exhaust was excessively loud.

ive been told that my exhaust was gettin taken down as a note to take off asap as its far to loud ...and i thought that there is a certain noise you can not go above which is 98db

as said there is no DB limit. but if the tester feels that is unreasonable then they can fail it

your exhuast can only fail you on the emissions
