Anyone good with Excel PivotTables?

  Tappd'd RS
I've got this pivottable that takes some data from my excel sheet that includes dates.

It will let me pick a specific date from the filter but is is possible to have the pivottable looking at a range of dates e.g. Jan - Mar rather than one of the specific entries in my data? I know the Excel filter allows you to do this.

Cheers.

Go to your original data, insert a column and use the =MONTH(A2) formula to pick out the specific month from your dates.

That way using the filter on the pivot table you can just select the specific month numbers you need to see.
