Anyone had this problem?

Clio 2, 04 plate, 1.2 16v engine, everything is fine when driving, then randomly the light that looks like a heartbeat monitor comes on and the car feels like its going to cut out..

Has anyone had this problem? It only does it like twice a month

isnt this down to the dodgy wiring looms that the 1.2s have iirc

its an electrical issue most likely yes

Anyone know what i can check.. The Engine management light comes on intermittantly and now this other light comes on aswell..

most likely to be wiring chaffed?

or TB or a sensor etC?

had this a few times mate. all the things i tried, changing the coil pack sorted it for me.

Ok mate ill have to try that, its already had an ecu, throttle pedal and loom and ive cleaned the TB, gna check all the ecu loom wesnesday.. Its not missfiring or anything tho, just the light on intermitantly..

yea those are the things i tried .
id get the light in hte middle come on and then the engine would go into 'limp mode'. AA said that they couldnt pin point the problem cos of all the electronics, but after a bit of research a coil pack was wat was needed.
