Anyone have an HP laptop with audio issues?

As above really.. Anyone experiencing the "HP Quick Touch On Screen Display has stopped working properly" and "No Audio Output Device Installed" errors?

Have tried everything and I mean EVERYTHING to resolve it. At the moment it's working (don't ask me how, I have NO idea!) but I'm scared to turn my laptop off in case the sound buggers off again.

The on screen display stopped working on mine ages ago, but the actual sound does still work.

mine doesn't have the volume come up on the screen anymore since i installed windows 7 but im not bothered.

Hmm, found this thread on the HP forums about it. I've tried everything these people have said

Oh well, it's working on and off so I guess I should just be happy with that.

Anyone else have this problem yet? It's driving me mental. I don't have sound at all anymore.
