not that noise, a beeping would be the least of my worries, listen to the noise pre corner, mainly while on the brakes or just after. :S

i had a noise like this on my old clio not so loud tho turned out to be a wheel bearing.

Gearbox/diff bearings possibly, doesn't do it when on the power? Only on overrun?
