Need to get some bits and pieces fitted to the Clio, anyone know a decent garage in Birmingham? Getting braided hoses and Recaro's fitted. I know I could do them myself, but just don't have the time.

Yozza's north of brum, looking for somewhere I can leave the car for the day and get a cab to work. Think Fred's quite busy at the mo, and I'm always pestering him for help!

Warren sort the seats out your self - there easy and recaros ?! :S

Just don't have the time mate! Getting the Recaro's for a good price, they aren't as comfy as the Cobra's, but they match the rest of the interior:o. In other words, I'm being a bit gay.

cant beleive your going for recaros :( after all the comments you made!!!!

Daytona's still the comfier seat, with the better driving position. But, the Recaros look more stock, and hopefully I won't lose much cash when I eventually sell them. I'm getting old I think.

knowing what i know now i love my datonas wish i could just get rid of a tiny rattle from the drivers seat :(

I had a small rattle from the passenger seat, but dissapeared when I put the seatbelt across it. Have you been on to Cobra about the rattle?

You won't be saying that when I get my official Recaro pipe and slipper holder attached.

its the tiliting part - becuase if you tighten up the side part (bit that makes it go back and forward) back reclainer its kinda stops for a bit!! then can just start again :( hardly worth it! i complined before when they both broke and they sent me two new ones! so its not worth its!

LOL renault pipe and slippers ;)

Have you tried using thread lock on it?

hows that going to help :S do to the fact that i took the last one apart and it hardly worked after that - and they still ended up replacing it! after another part broke (the reclainer part) i dont dare touch the thing! :( a little disapointing! but the gf was sat on it all day yesterday and it never made a sound!! - as i say you can play about with the knob on the side and loose it for a while!! any thoughts!??

I'll take a gander at Riz's, see if there's anything. Just to clarify, is it driver or passenger side?

well as im always sat on the drivers side no sound ever comes from that one! its the passenger side - i know this will sound wrong - but bang it from the rear! and it rattles!! tighten up the little knob on the side of the seat and it makes it just a thought tigher - therfor no rattle - then it comes back!! ;(

Any thoughts you have would be really apprecated!!! thanks :approve:

Have you tried the seatbelt? I used to keep the belt on it's lowest position (on the B pillar) then connect the belt (even without a passenger), rattle gone!

ill try that - connecting the belt with out a passenger! but i dont know how thats going to help! its just the seat what with it being a recliner! there has to be movemement in it but there just that little to much in it! to make it rattle!! plase check with riz :)

Err have you not seen the problems the latest recaros are causing :rasp: there no better and cost cost double the price!!!!
Can't believe Ali got a bite so quickly;)
;)

Try the belt, mine had that bit of play because of the recliner, the belt just held it in place and stopped the rattle.

Which Recaro's do you have?

dont entertain him!! ;)
