The wiring from the seatbelt pretensioners are for? One obviously connects to the car wiring loom for it to work, only on the drivers side there is another which goes to a plug riveted to the seat frame. I have chopped it off to fir new seats, and everything still works fine with no warning lights on. Would have thought it was for the stupid beeping noise when you sit in the drivers seat without seatbelt on but it still works fine without.

Any help/ suggestions???

As the wire is cut the car thinks you have your belt on all the time so it wont beep at you.

No its still beeps, still turns off after 90 secs, and still knows when i have my belt fastened. Thats what i couldnt figure out

is it not an earth cable ?

Err not sure which one youve cut then if its not for the seatbelts then it must be for the airbag or pretentioners.
