You cant do it. All you can do to minimise it is switch to the swivelling map one!

eh...

very easy....

with the door open, kinday push the button to just before the light comes on..(kinda in between on and off)...

and it wont come on when you open the doors etc

I have the same problem with my fridge, every time I open the door the bloody lights on.

but try fiddling with the button till the light goes out...
