I am, it will have the pace to match all its other abilites this time round, even though the r32 was quick round topgear test track it wasnt quite up there with the impreza and evo (although the golf is more of a semi-luxury family wagon)

R36 3.6 should be pretty amazing at 300bhp

0-60 only 6 seconds, and it's putting out around 300bhp?! Must weigh a bit.

If they were going with driver focused why not put the GTi on a diet and do a 'GTi Cup' type thing?

Meh not particularly fast considering specs and I just dont like any Golf after the MK2.

They just get duller and duller.
