Anyone made a cv boot fitting cone??

Anyone made a cv boot fitting cone out of a plastic bottle or similar??

What bottle did you use etc ????

Just get an expanding boot - cheaper than the Renault one and a few mechanic have said they tend to last longer as they are more flexible

And a lot feckin easier to get on too!

Horrible things those stretch boots. Never last and always coming off. I won't use them on a customers car.

I've had one on since Febuary - last year that is lol

I have a stretchy one but I doubt that will stretch over the hub without a cone
