If I had that escort in the garage I wouldn't be posting photos of it on Ebay when selling the clio. People will end up viewing the clio and then coming back at night for the escort.

I haven’t read the description but if the service history is there I’d say it’s worth £2750.

Going viewing it on Saturday if it's not gone. 6 hour round trip but should be worth it if it's as described.

I owned this for a bit after buying it off my mate who had it for a few years. Think this is the second time it’s been sold since I had it.

I sold it on about 116k and it was a complete car and fairly standard.

I sold it to a mechanic from Kirknewton, then I saw he was selling it. Must of been to the guy that’s selling it in this advert.

Did you end up buying it?

I bought this on Tuesday. It's my first Clio and will serve as a daily and for the odd track day. I drove it 5 hours back down to Essex and no major issues. Driveshaft will need doing at some point as it clicks on full lock. We had agreed a price before I traveled up to see it and, in hindsight, I probably would have pushed harder on the price if i'd seen it first as there is some bubbling on the rear arch and fuel cap area. I haven't had it on the ramp yet though so hoping there's nothing too nasty underneath!

We're now going to see this Saturday. Bit Barry looking but its low mileage and looks in good nick with decent mods.

Haha, I absolutely loved mine and it never missed a beat. Saying that it was only 5 years old with 30k on it when I bought it.
