anyone painted their interior

i have a mk1 and was thinking of painting the dash and interior to a different colour rather than plain grey.
i was just wondering if anyone has done it before and how hard it was and how pleased where you with the end result.

any pics would be appreciated.

there was someone that was doing it on here ages ago, was doing theirs this nice black and silver, dont think there was ever an update posted but it looks good

I had my dash inserts done by middo off here and think they look mint..they're in a a multi coloured type colour lol (andromeda is the name)! He told me it was hard work and not cheap either 'cos i wanted all the plastic done in my car ('cos its shitty cream)

its relatively easy to do if your using a simple metallic colour. so you could do it a standard grey colour for instance with ease.

kizas and a couple of others ive done have been done in a rainbow shimmer over a black groundcoat and therefore just takes more work to do, and a little more patience to get an even coverage.

ultimately, if your handy with a spraycan it should be a piece of fiddly piss.

I've painted the interior in my mk3 fiesta!

Does look good!

you need to use plastic primer and plastic paint so the thinners doesnt damage the plastics!

Also... some glossy colours will reflect onto your windscreen,
which obviously you want to avoid as much as possible!
