Just find the size out, and go to the local B&Q for some washers = done

outside overall diameter = 40mm
internal diameter of hole = 18.5mm
thickness = 3mm

Sure a local place could knock 2 up for you for cheap.

Used to have a place in my town that would have bolts, washers etc in ANY size you could think of. Mate had a 2.1 ZVH RSturbo and needed some head bolts. They had exactly what he was after in a tub from the 70s. Unfortunately the old boys were forced out of business by the likes of B&Q etc.

I imagine if you went to a fastenings/engineering place they would have the right size or be able to get some.

What are the symptoms for needing new washers?

engine movement mate, knocking from the front too, ktec suggested could be top mounts knocking, and as iv now replaced all engine mounts twice im at my wits end

Sounds like a slight click that I have on the front end. Strut lube sorted it out for a little while but now it has come back. Will be fitting coilovers in a couple of weeks so will do these at the same time. Got to be worth a punt for a few quid!
