I'm a little hesitant to go at my bonnet with sandpaper as i dont have a G220 or the like.

Anyone local to me (Birmingham) handy with wet/dry and a machine polisher?

I tried it, it works well but there are so many small chips on my bonnet I just gave up

Is it extremely difficult? how easy would it be to polish back up by hand?

I'm worried i'll feck it up

Practically impossible. Unless instead of hands you have a rotary?

Cant afford the initial layout of £100+ either for a few stone chips.

So true, back when I first got into detailing I bought some scratch x (naive) and thought right, lets make my BLACK car mint. 5 minutes later, back inside stinking of fail
