anyone use the canon 18-55 3.5-5.6 IS lens

does anyone use it ? its supposedly much better than the kit lens even though its in a sense the same thing although its optically better and of course has 4 stop stabilization on top

17-55 f2.8 seems to win most reviews. It is a lot more cash though!

yes £650 compared to £109 lol if i was going 2.8 it would be tamron 17-50 2.8 at about £260

The new kit does look like a bargain, don't expect many users though, not until lots of people buy the 450D...

yep, they had to make it have IS, all the competition do. for the kit lens green box mode crew... :nono:

plus... 40d is cheaper than 450d lol.

450d is 599 body only at jessops,
40d is 629 -£100 cashback lol. = £529 LOL.

gotta be an absolute dickhead to buy 450d. most likely spaz's seeing 12.2 Mpx over 10...
