anyone used one of these?

Hi ben_p

Using it for the ultimate build?

I've seen them used before - seem to do a really good job. Ever seen "a car is born" on the TV? He used one on there as well.

Looks like an expensive and back to front version of Gunson's easy bleed.

The Gunson's one works OK, but you have to let the tyre down to a couple of PSI or it squirts fluid everywhere. Also, if you have a slight leak in the master cylinder cap seal it does an excellent job of frothing up the brake fluid.

As this is drawing the fluid through maybe it will work better.

Think i'd still rather just 2-man pump bleed it. Seems an unnecesary expense tbh, having said that i've been following the build and I know how you like your tools/toys :D.

i have got one of these at work realy good for bleeding brakes and hydraulic clutches and the bonus is you only need one person! deffo worth gettin imo

yeah i've got one, its great for fluid changes as its quick, but you say you want your 4pots spot on- there is NO better way then a mate in the car pumping the pedal
pedal down-open nipple close nipple-pedal up
pedal down-open nipple close nipple-pedal up
and carry on - basically you only ever want the nipple open when the pedal is down, if you have it open when the pedal is up it sucks air back in the system.
even using the bleeder i always use that method a few times after just to get the air out.
