Anyway of turning off an iPhone 3G without using the top button?

My top button is broken, need to turn my phone off and back on again, anyway of doing this? or even resetting the phone?

Oddly, I can turn it back on using the top button, it just doesnt work for anything else?

I think some of the jail break tools used to reset the devices but I've not used the resent ones.

Hold both buttons will reset it.

Why do you need to turn it off? Just stick a film on and repeat until it dies.
