Anyway to make a performance exhaust perform well and be QUIET!

At the mo im selling the Ph-Quick as its to loud and bumpy for my needs right now and was abit of a swine to live with with the omex and that!

BUT since ive had GDis new ICV fitted the car is a different car to drive, it starts first time if cold or not and its just like a standard smooth car to drive low rev range, but then still a complete animal later in the revs :evil:

BUT for me to keep it i need to get eh exhaust quieter! i had a cat back pro speed made a couple of months ago and they made it as quiet as they could but its still too loud!

So what way could i make it quieter or is there another exhaust out there thats quiet!

BUT (yes another one) at the same time still performs just aswell as a loud exhaust! I dont mind losing a couple of BHP but to lose anymore just seems silly and not fair on the car really!

Does it have/how many silencers is it running? Exhaust Bore and Tip Size??

100 cell cat with 2.25/2.5 inch piping middle silencer and backbox, with 3.5inch tailpipe

Maybe a Silenced Decat?? I'm not sure how much these work though, I'm surprised it is really loud as I'm running a Decat and 2.5" Bore with Twin 3.5" Slash Cut but that is on my 182,

Off Topic but where can I get those Inserts you have Tie wrapped into your exhaust Mount? I'm having real problems with my Exhausts Rubbers sagging pretty quickly :(

not sure, they fitted them when they did the exhaust, pretty sure its just piping though!

Im surprised its so loud aswell really, such a shame!

Yozzasport stealth system. I have one on my ph1. Tiny bit louder on tick over... But when you give it the beans its no louder than an induction kit to be honest! Sounds good though!

Still quite a big tailpipe on there, I think it will make the difference to get it down to no bigger than the bore of the main pipe. Maybe even ask Charlie to change yours to a baffled tailpipe so you keep the current look but take the boomy edge off.
