the ride is mint! its actually better than standard!!!! And when u attack a roundabout..........oohhhhhhh lol, grip n go, feels miles better! It has to be said tho, the standard spring set-up must handle mell, its just it rolled a bit much! thats what it like to hear John!!! yeah the ride is mint! felt too comfy, i thought that when i chucked it about it would be soft...........but it corners flat and with nice feeling!!! LOVE IT!!!! :D

Yeah, the road holding is awesome! I had problems with mine initially cos my tracking was out by miles - 10degrees on the nearside, 15 degrees on the offside, so the wheels were pointing in completely different directions, made the handling very edgy! But Ive recently had that sorted and Im delighted with the handling from the Apex springs. Mine definitely bedded in and look a lot lower than they did at first. Id say it took easily 500-1000 miles before they were fully bedded down.

I had APEX springs on my 1.2 16V, I wasnt all that impressed with the handling but the ride was comfortable and it looked great. Mine bedded in after about 2 months which seemed a long time with average driving etc (definately sunk another 4-5mm tho)

Got H&R springs on my 172 now, well expensive but worth the money!!

i paid £75 for the springs, and £15 for a pair of DRAPER spring compressors. So from what i hear, it still has a little bit of dropping to do! might get my tracking checked out, ill see how it goes!
