Apex - Yes or No?

Thinking of dropping my 182 on Apex springs.

Seems like a hot topic on here, looks V's ride etc.

Was going to save up for coilovers ( the K-Tec cup ones) but Ime getting impatiant.

Seems the spootlines give a good ride, but dont really drop a cup packed 182 at all....

The Apex look great but is the ride really that bad?

Opinions please :S

yep totaly crashy.. sportlines are little better and coilovers are alot better plus u get best of both world.. iv had all three on mine and am sticking with the coilovers ;)

apex - s**t ride - good looks

sportlines - decent ride - decent drop

coilovers - great ride - great performance - great stance!

I got 40mm apex on my 172 cup, they do look good and handle awesome around silverstone but they are a hard ride for day to day driving.

got them on my 172cup gave a nice drop an i felt it handle better to.. are a bit harsh over bumps tho, gd cheap spings in my opinion

Yeah, been looking at the drop the sportlines offer, and it doesnt seem worth the hassle, whereas the apex seem to be a harsher ride, but look spot on....

Arrhhh - why cant eibach do a 40mm drop spring?!?!?

Have them on my 172 the ride isn't that bad imo and they give a great stance keeping the nose down look. I bought them originally as a stop gap before gettin coilovers but plans changed and i have just kept the apex on.

Thinking of making a purchase in the next week or so pal so.....

Think ile "give em a whirll" and see how it goes - I can always put the standard springs back on if i find them abit too harsh i suppose....
