My lower driverside arch lining snapped off and before spending the 60 pound for a new genuine one I found this at euro for 15quid, does it look right?

The plastic on the aftermarket ones are terrible. I fitted one to my clio dci, the flap part that clips to subframe support snapped when fitting. Had to tie wrap it together

Ah gutted can't even take it back at that point. Apparently Renault can still get them in from France £65. They can't say how long it'll take to deliver apart from that might be the best option

Man 60 quid is a lot for a piece of plastic, maybe you can find one on a scrapyard Clio and just give it a wash?

Yeah. Mine was hanging off after having belts done; asked if they could replace it bloke said they couldn't get hold of any. Called a different site with part number & apparently can be ordered from France 🙃 have you tried ordering anywhere?

172/182 arch liners rarely come up 2nd hand in good nick and everybody needs them

I bought mine brand new a few years back but if you’re saying a dealer can get you some for £65, order them. I’ve seen them sell second hand for more than that. Let us know if you order some and when they arrive.

That's a shame but maybe that also means not too many 172s/182s have been scrapped (compared to other hot hatches) so that's a good sign at least 🤷‍♂️

Nah,
folk binned the plastics back in the day as no one wanted them. Now they are rocking horse s**t. A decent intact Arch liner would easily fetch £100 in my opinion. There have been people say they can get them new before, but they never turn up.
