Has anyone got one and are they reccomended?
I am wanting something to store media on and besides my home pc was going to get a laptop as im always on the move! I was just going to buy a cheapy just to watch dvd's/listen to cd's and store pictures so would have spent £400-£500 on a laptop!
However i have been looking into the portable MP4 players and the archos keeps springing up. I have found this.....

The Av700 from argos at £300. It has a 40gb memory and comes with a spare battery! Im swaying towards the portable media player rather than the laptop solely because of battery life! A laptop is only good for watching 1 dvd (2-3hrs)
What is the battery like on the archos series?
