Rich your car is so clean. It never fails to inpress me. I need to develop some of these skills!
Would you put this deep shine down to personal ability, or products used?

Black is the colour!

neither - arctic is the worst 182 colour and black gold although nice isnt "special"
racing blue or liquid yellow !

beauty is in the eye of the beholder lol, I think racing blue is easily the worst 182 colour, or inferno...

hence why the poverty spec ones came in these colours only :rasp:

Racing blue does look superb in certain light, without stripes is criminal though.

Nah Paddock Green, sorry Petrol Blue is the worst.

Cheers.

All in the prep work rather than the products IMO. Lots of people go on about the waxes, this adds maybe 10% of the overall look. For my car lots of hours on it to get it to the stage it is at, would like to think I know what I am doing though to.

got to be BG

Im having a similar decision choosing the colour for a 197, (Albi or Black) and whilst Im prepared to put in the time to keep them clean I think that black or black gold looks better in soft light and the blues look better in the bright light;
Even when the tyres are done really black, in bright light on a black car, they always look 'off black' still and this ruins it...
I still can't decide though. Black is rewarding when clean though, you can achieve better than average results with just a few hours a week spent on it so Id be very tempted by black- and blue is so common now!

You don't get that off washed out black look even in bright sun if you use a decent wax/sealant on it.
