Are second hand Clio's overpriced?

I'm only asking this because i regularly see M/N-reg Clios (i.e over 10 yrs old), being sold for about £1k-£1.5k.

These cars have relatively low miles for age, about 70k-80k.
1.2-1.4 litre engines.

On the other hand, i bought my gf a Mk2 Seat Ibiza, 1.4l, 1995 M-reg, 55k miles for £700 last year. And this was about the normal price.
Baring in mind, this is literally a VW Polo but more spacious & imo better looking.

I just dont understand...?:S

People just think there worth more not that they are have a look in the parkers etc you'll see there worth just as much as an Ibiza etc the only thing going for them over an Ibiza is there more popular with young drivers just like Corsas.

  BMW Z4 3.0i
My '03 172 with 42k and sat nav wouldn't even go for £6k if I tried to sell it, so no, they're not overpriced... unfortunately.

Agree with this, mines probably only worth 5.5k max due to the amount of miles on it! Clio's are cheap second hand imo.
