are the inlet and plenum the same?

They are different & not interchangeable mate

Some change in the breather set-up.

do a search - you'll find lots of info on it

see you over the weekend dude

Ph1 and Ph2 172 have the same top half (plenum) but the the ph2 has fly by wire throttle body and ph1 has cable. The 182 has the same fly by wire throttle body as ph2 172 but different breather setup on the plenum. AFAIK!

glad i know this now. i was going to get a spair plen to polish up. would have been gutted if i had done all the work then it didnt fit.

Ph1 and ph2 plenums are the same. Im currenlty running a ph2 set up on the ph1

Inlets are the same on all

can't remember on the bolts holes, but i'm sure there's a difference there, the flange angle is way different also

Fred's right, the FBW throttle body has a different bolt pattern to cable throttle. also the PH2 doesn't have a hole for the idle control valve
