Are there any differences between Ph1 and Ph2 shocks

Hi will ph2 172 non cup shocks fit a ph1 172?

I thought they were the same, but when I did a search, I came up with different part no.

Front and rears are all the same for ph1 and ph2's 172's, fitment wise. The cup ones fit, but are slightly stiffer apparently.

I didnt really notice it that much, but saying that, i was on vmaxx coilovers in between.

Bolt drillings are also different to allow for the slightly wider track on a cup, but still allow for the same camber angle as a ff 172. :wink:
The best bit is that no one, not even Renault realise this. Flol!!!!!!
