Arghhh Another Noise!!!!

My 172 Cup is making the worse sqeeking noise ever! When ever the car is in gear the hole of essex can hear it! What the hell is it

Yes but not as loud as it does in motion!!! f**king thing sucks! Whers my quiksilver?????

does it do it wen stationary but in neutral and revving the engine?? or just all the time engine runs?

even when reving, the more revs u put on at a stand still or in motion in neutral or in gear it makes a louder noise!!!!!

is it a squeaking noise such as a fan belt would make or totally different?

I had this on my williams recently..turned out to be the fan belt.

Think it is the fan belt??? Muppets at renault dont know sh*t! Serviced 200 miles ago my arse!

200 miles can be enough to start a fan belt squeaking. This will not have been checked in service. All it takes is for the belt to get wet thru rain/puddles and it will squeak mate.

But surely there must be something wrong with the car, for all these probs to happen at only 12600 miles?

dunno, wot probs you had mate? But as for fan belt i dont know their life, but know they can give up at any time (from experience!)

In less than a week i have had:

1. AA Come out to me with doing less than 5 miles in it

2. Starter motor dosnt work properly

3. Speedo dosnt read the correct ratings, 120mph in 3rd yeh alright!!!!

4. The loudest noise in the rear of the car ever when ever i go over a bump

5. Fan belt slipping

6. Still no call from the dealer about my wheels being refurb which was with part of the deal when buying the car

Renault Suck!!!!

kept me up u mothaf*ka, can i sue u 4 keepin me up all night :-(

sounds like its got damp and now squeeks, quite commen on lots of cars, usually goes after its dried out,

120mph in 3rd, damn thats impressive m8!!

take the car back and stand up 4 urself, no way u should be getting all these problems, ask 4 a new car if everythings not sorted asap

Cheers guys and vix : ) i will do.... Renault after sales are shocking!!!! I knew they was bad but they wouldnt even take my car in today! I said im just dumping it round there and they can sort it whether they like it or not!
