But that wasn't the case, I'm sure I read it was bought back from an insurance company and rebuilt so while it won't be cat d/c, someone please correct me if I'm wrong it will be still down as stolen recovered if it was to be hpi'd so is not hpi clear obviously

It was a northern Irish car therefore still a UK car and would/should show on HPI. However if it was a southern Irish car and imported to UK it wouldn't show up.
