Hi,

Can AST topmounts modified for 'standard' suspension still be used on coilovers later?

If they are remachined yes. Its something to do with the clearance at the top or something.

yes but you will need some other bits. Basically the collar under the anodised mount is machined flat. On the coilover versions there is a lip to sit on a bearing, and a top hat for the coilover spring.

Ah ok, I'll haver to be more patient then, and wait 'till I can get some coilovers
