Crysis is apparantly very scaleable too so it will play excellent in DX9 mode and XP

scaleable is nice but unless i can play a game with all the fancy effects turned on I feel im missing something. So would rather just upgrade.

^ same here agame like the new crysis needs to be played with the latest hardware this game is gona be the bench mk for all games in the next few years cant wait for it comeing out.

Re. Crysis on DX9 under XP, It'll still look better than anything currently out there, I agree though it would be best to be able to take advantage of all the new bells and whistles, now that Vista RC2 is out theres supposed to be some new trailer footage for Crysis out in november once it's had further optimising done on the newer Vista code, Nvidia also release the first DX10 card in next 2-3 months so cant wait for some new footage and screens
