A standard 205 mi16:S.lol
i know of a pretty much standard 205 mi16 clocking just under 9 minutes for comparison
I went in august on the way back from a beer festival! Did 4 laps in my 172 and timed them all. I just think it's nice to know. I'd just say don't be looking at the clock all the way round, trying to go a little quicker as you are down on the previous lap! just see what the time is at the gantry.
From my experience it is near impossible to get a 'clean lap'. You have yellow flags, slower cars - including vans, and some slow and fast bikes. There is loads to watch out for, without looking at a stopwatch. My fastest was a 9:50 - so I was just pleased to be sub 10mins - although on a quiet track you could be a lot faster.
It is a fantastic place and I'll be going back. It's not so scary (although the foxhole at speed is!). I'd recommend playing the track on Gt4 with a clio - but only do it without touching any kerbs. It teaches you which way the corners go at least.
Weren't the mi16 engines converted from the 405/BX gti therefore not standard??
What exactly is 'standard' about a 205 Mi16 !?
