As such, i need something more suitable to hero mileage/towing, ie a 330d.

Apparently the sound deadening and build quality made him feel removed from the road... so the Clio is a much better option.

He spent much cash at Audi dealers asking them to reconnect the steering for him. And trying to find out why the engine was making that noise.

I like the TT to be honest, it would rip a clio a new ar5sehole in the twisties as well i reckon, you just have no idea whats going on underneath all the grip!! Which isnt really a problem, until the grip runs out lol ... but having exactly the same car as your missus is gay.

If someone buys if, thats cool, if not, im not going to be too upset

Nah, TT's going in a couple of weeks, so will just plough up & down the M3 in the clio until i find something else.

Absolutely, no idea what to buy though lol, kinda running out of options tbh ...

lol, bought it on the 6th October. Sold on 6th November, to Sarah's brother Richard's girlfriend as it happens. We met them in Cheltenham for a drink at the weekend & she fell in love with it there & then!! I'll be delivering it to Cardiff for her in 2 weeks.

M3 is always floating around Nick, think i'm gonna go for a Audi with a 3 in the name though, '4WD' is nice in the winter, if only for snow based drifting

Nah, i still cant bring myself to own a derv i dont think lol ... would make sense, but with the amount of miles i do, i just know that i'd find myself on an awesome deserted country road, in the middle of nowhere on business, and be in the sodding golf sdi or something. That would make me cry.

Oh dont worry, i've driven one enthusiastically ... a good friend had a ST155

Bought it for £10k as he wanted a cheaper to run car for the commute (instead of a 330), sold it after 2 years for £5k. I laughed at his depreciation-based high running cost failure.

Mostly as he's now bought another 330.
