Right chaps, following the successful meet on Sunday I'd like to know what we should do for an August gathering. The main thing that was talked about was a rolling road at somewhere like RS Tuning but I've heard they're very busy and it may be hard to fit us in anytime soon. Has anyone spoken to them at all? Any suggestions for what we should do? Are people even up for another one? (I hope so) Also just to add I think we should have a meet on the last Sunday/Saturday of each month/every other month.

Yep we need another meet, even a regular one at the huntsman just for a chat would be cool. Maybe email rs tuning to gauge when he could fit us in and how many be can run so we (you!) can plan an RR day better.

Something like this I'd need another lift. No motorways and little experience means I'd be fucked, unless I bring my dad and he drives for me?😂

You're probably right, Wednesdays at 7pm feels a bit early for a bit of dogging action anyway, prefer Fridays at 11.

Personally wouldn't really be able to make a Wednesday. Not because I have much going on but because I don't like to mix my study/work time with my leisure time which is generally only weekends. Plus I'm far too lazy to get myself to a meet on a Wednesday. Weekends only for me really.

Up for whatever guys im pretty easy going but i would prefer a weekend meet so im not rushing around after work! Can't do the 13th -14th though as im at VW festival!.

Not for @RB 182 its not, he's only 9 miles down the road! Think that rules out the Huntsman anyway if we were to do a meet midweek.

Got a reply from RS Tuning this morning.
Has to be minimum 10 cars and cost is £35 each.
Weekend of 27th and 28th August isn't possible as it's a bank holiday weekend.
Do we think we'll be able to get 10 cars? And that doesn't include mine as it would probably blow up.

Sounds like a resonable price!! If we couldn't get numbers i could possibly get a couple of friends to come along although they dont have clio's??

If you could do that then it would really help as it means we could secure the discount. Get asking and let us know. Need to work out if we can get the numbers asap.

Standard price is £45+VAT and they're offering £35 per car which is about a 35% discount.

All they said was 'power run'. I assume that means a few runs (maybe about 2/3) to get the best figure possible. Not 100% sure. I'll email and ask later.
