Auto headlights

Right... lost my handbook, wanted to check it ages ago, since my bump, my headlights seem to have a mind of there own, everytime ..say i go into touchwood car park (underground) my headlights will turn on automatically?! with the light switch on 0.
And i go outside and they go off! i must be just stupid not to have noticed or theres a ghost in my car!
they never used to do this before the bump! has anyone on here actually got auto lights? Rach x

yea, mine do it when going under a tunnel

there meant to,

if you flick the light switch on then off twice in rapid sucession the car will beep and they will be de activated.

i think you need the key on in the ignition on two setting, so all the dash lights come on

Yes, all 172s (not sure about Mk1s) and 182s have auto lights. You can turn the function off if it bothers you.
