Auto Headlights

Not sure if this is the right place to place a technical issue. But anyway Ive got a Mk2 172 and the auto headlight on facility which used to work when it got dark now doesnt???Ive checked the obvious fuse/relay options but everything looks okay? Anyone else had this issue? if so what was the solution as I dont want the car to be in the garage for a day just to be told its a 5 min job that anyone could sort

you aint turned them off by mistake?

before starting the car turn the lights off/on twice...should beep.

if they were off, they will turn back on.

ooh, I was just about to post that, I think half the cheque to me..

another way to fix it is disconnect the battery, bloody have to switch the auto lights off again everytime its in to renault.
