Auto Lights

My auto lights on my 172 have stopped working, any idea how to get them working, what could I have done ? :clown:

turn ignition key all the way round but don't start the car. switch the lights on and off again 2 or 3 times. this will turn the auto-function back on. iirc you should hear a beep confirming this.

it tells you in your clio handbook. Page 1.53 in mine. You have to turn the light stalk from position '0' to 'sidelights position' twice.
