Autoglym...the best or is there better

Ive been using the autoglym products for a few washes now and can safely say they are the canines danglies....

However... there may be better out there.

Ive used the body shampoo conditioner stuff (green label), the super resin polish and the extra gloss protection... Ive got no complaints and the gloss protection is into its second week of looking clean as...

If anyone has had a quality result with a particular brand... lets hear about it

Meguiars didnt do too well in the latest review in Auto Express?

I like Turtle Wax Extreme Wax, worked very well.. didnt seem to do any worse than Autoglym Super Resin Polish anyway!

Autoglym Glass Cleaner is superb..

I guess it depends on the person using it.. but Autoglym is definetly very good.

Daz.

we have got this pink stuff from a valeting company, very cheap, but WOW what i shine, its about £8 for 5 litres, buffs of very easily from autosmart i think!

I always swore by Autoglym but then at Max live i blagged some meguars. Its by far the best stuff i have used before. Will never go back to Autoglym after using Maguars!!

The gloss protection stuff has worked quality..

You polish as normal using the resin polish then apply a coat of the protection. It comes out like paint thinners and youre not meant to rub it in just coat the surface in it.

It dries to like a white powdery finish which you should leave for 30-60 mins ( i left it for 30) then you buff it off.

It comes up looking baaaad... showroom eat your heart out.

It seems to be lasting too. I just washed it at the weekend with the conditioner stuff.... after a good chamois-ing it came up a treat again... seems like good stuff the protection.

I use "wonder wheels" on the alloys... leaves them looking new

Little tip lads n lass! ;)

The Autoglym Bumper black Gell is also good for interior trim! If ur Dash is a bit dull and dusty it works a treat! Dont need to use much and it makes it look like new!

P.S. Dont use it on ur Wheel or Gear Nob - gets a little slippy

i use meguairs and swear by it for the best stuff from them get the 3 part system its got paint cleaner ( u put it on wait a while buff it off and the paint squeeks its that clean) then use the part 2 wax (give it sooopper smoothe finish) then use part 3 polish ( makes it all look sooooooooo good the paint almost looks tasty) its hard work but well worth it, then u can use the gold class polish its like 12 quid a bottle but gives it really deep shine makes paint look really ritch.

then after a week when u have a bit of dust or dirt on it u use meguires quick mist clean i think its called, u spray it on so its all misted then just use a cloth to take it all off and u r back to oooohhh so good looking paint.

want to get some meguairs wheel stuff havent tryed that yet, only auto glim stuff i use is there window wax stuff makes glass really clean and dry almost.

i use turtle wax shampoo but gonna get some meguairs stufff this week.

ive always used autoglym for body work and windows, and armourel(spelling) for interior plastic and tyres!

autoglym is good, easy to use...although a tad expensive:(

Im liking the sound of this 3 part meguiars stuff.. with the spray that takes it back to a shine after it gets a bit dirty.

Where on the high street does meguiars?

Sorry the above is so huge - it wasnt when I copied and pasted it!!

The testers at Auto Express have given Autoglym only 3 stars also Meguiars 3 stars but Turtle Wax Gloss Guard had 5 stars, they said this had never been bettered by any other polish since it came out in 1998. It is only £6.99 and Autoglym is very overpriced at £11.99
