automatic headlights

where about is the sensor? is it above the rear view mirror?
just noticed mine is not working after the service..................

yes, above rearview mirror

they sometimes have a funny - only a light sensor!

could be they switched the feature off too. Its controlled by a double on-off switch of the front lights whist ignition is at stage 1. It freaked me out once when i found it by accident when stationary with radio on and did it subcounsciously waiting for the missus.

you activate/deactivate the auto sidelights by moving the selector from 0 to sidelights and back, twice.

One beep means you have de-activated it, two means you have activated it.

All this must be done with the ignition on but the engine NOT running.

The manual probably does tell you this somewhere. Not sure to be honest, just something i noticed one day when sat in the car.
