Hi guys.
PAS has started failing intermittently recently with squealing sound when it does. I originally thought the pump was on its way out but now I'm thinking because of the squealing sound (also on start up for couple of seconds) that the aux belt is slipping and therefore not driving the pas pump sufficiently when I'm turning the wheel.
does this sound right to you guys?
Sometimes the pas is still working fine and there's no squeal. Does turning the wheel actually put more strain on the aux belt?
