Queries on running Gripper Diff

Hi All

Few queries. I've just taken the gearbox out and get a Gripper fitted to my RB182.

While i was at the Gearbox I fitted a TTL flywheel, powerflex black bushes to wishbones, steering rack and antiroll bar.

Everything fitted back on and I've noticed a couple of things.

1. After fitting all back. Took it for a quick test and the power steering pump locked solid and the belt started slipping on the pulley. I didn't remove the rack, I left all in place and cable tied up to the manifold so no pas pipes touched. Could this be coincidental? After cooling it started working again? The steering does seem heavier?

2. When turning there's a dry rubbery rubbing noise from passenger side. I fitted the lobro shorter shaft. MT90 gearbox oil. Maybe it's the wishbone bushes?

Sorry if this has been covered. I've searched the forum and can't see anything like this.

Cheers

Mark

Pas pump failure will be a coincidence.

Did you grease the powerflex bushes up when fitting?

Yep. Greased them up when fitting. Jacked the front end up there can't see anything that would be fouling or rubbing when the wheels spinning. It could only be the bushes?

Just reread post again. The gripper diffs clunk like fcuk when turning on the street when the gear oil is cold especially at full lock or tighter bends.

Gets slightly better when warmed up a bit, you sure its not that?
