auxbelt question?

hi all

just wanted to know if the auxbelt snaps how likely is it to take the cambelt with it ive heard of people writing threads about this before but what are the odds?

i only ask this because my 172 has done around 46000 miles now and is 4years old
i only got the car 9months ago and i think it still has the original auxbelt on,
it looks to be in good condition just wondered if it will last until around 55000 (next year) when im
planning to have the cambelt, waterpump and auxbelt changed

also im still confused when you are actually supposed to change the auxbelt some people say at 36000
others say its just a visual inspection at 36000, some say they can both last until 72000 or 5years?

what do people think or recommend?:

Its quite likly to take out the cambelt. the design of it isn't amazing.

Aux belt servies were chnaging after a load failed ans Renault had to pay so it now should be chnaged at 36k not checked. Some dealers don't remember to chnage it at 36k and still work to the old service rules.

If you paying for the engine if it goes bang I'd chnge at 30k AUX belt and 60k the cambelt.
