Still in primer but hopefully get some final decoration done this weekend.

12mm MDF. Filled with just normal filler but in stages with 24hrs in between.


Cool, I guess you just paint over that then? Doesn't need plaster?

i want to do this and put a projector screen on it so this has helped me visualise how to do it now thanks :)

gotta get my fecking house first tho :(

No plaster required thankfully!
 
Doesn't need plaster but will need a lot of painting, sanding, painting, sanding, painting to get a decent finish. In my experience.
 
Here's what was made ..

Wall has conduit inside it and plastered over ..

Wires come out inside a unit that we hand made .. Just need to finish the top!

That's a good effort :)

I need to sort something out for mine, as the wires are pissing me off.

I need to get the wires for the rears under the floor boards.
 
I was skeptical with those units at first as I thought the units looked a bit 'busy' with the black hinges and handles but thought I would wait for the finished pictures.

Looks great though and has really surprised me, really nice set up now! What size is the TV?
