Tempted to swap my kit out for a 515 and a matching denon blu ray player .. Can't afford speakers yet though so would have to have Audio through TVs HDMI .. Spose u have to start somewhere and build it up gradually!
Cheers for the responses guys, I've got my joiner m8 coming round to look at modifying my unit if needed.
Whilst on this subject I've been on the hunt since I placed my order for the denon for a set of speakers.
I've gone 2nd hand and got some B&W 601 s1 and 601 s2's and am just looking for a centre! It's spiralling out of control tho as I also need stands and cables etc!!

Well due to budget and the fact I want it all by the 18th jan when my amp comes I've now got:
Rears - B&W 601 s1
Front - B&W 603 s1
Sub - old Yamaha
Centre - to purchase
Both sets of B&W's for £200 which I'm over the moon about, I've read reviews etc and understand they are old and the s2/3's are better but these are my first decent speakers so will be more than adequate. Plus they look great.
I'm now on the hunt for a centre and cc6 seems to fit the bill and will complement what I have, depending on how much use they get will determine how long it takes for me to upgrade them.
The monitor audio vector deal looks to be great but I wanted The looks and size of the B&W's.
FFS denons gone up in price
I have a Denon avr1312, great bit of kit and well recommended.
Just picked up a B&W HTM62 centre speaker. So currently have all the speakers but only my old denon 1906, and not managed to get throught to richer sounds to check my price on the 2113
I went into richer sounds yesterday having a butchers at all their receivers, primarily to see if the Denon was worth my money.
The salesman immediately put me off it, telling me that Denon don't make a good receiver and didn't rate it at all! Said the same for Pioneer. He advised me to buy a Yamaha, due to the incorporated DSP processor.

The Denon is good but definitely not the best out there.
Check out the reviews in the back of what hifi and have a look at AV Forums.
No, but to say Denon don't make a good receiver is quite laughable. People go on about the great advice you get from RS but tbh I don't think they're all that half the time. There knowledge is no where near as good as my local specialist but if you know what you're after RS do some cracking deals...
