AV Sender

  Not a Clio
Getting tired of the seemingly random interference with mine. I only have to nudge a cable and suddenly I'm getting scrolling lines down the screen.

Can anyone recommend a good (as in no interference at all) AV sender?

I use the receiver directly above the room with the sender in. If I wasn't renting, I'd drill a bloody hole in the floor and coax it.

Only requirement I have is that it has to have RCA connectors as the scart on my TV is bust.

Very pleased with the "Technika" £27 quid tesco jobbie. Excellent picture quality and good sound.

Reviews seem good on that one, cheers :)

Yeah, that was my thought. People were going on about it being as good if not better than the digisender gold or something (which is 100 odd quid). I couldn't justify spending 100 quid on it so I thought that there was nothing really to lose trying it for 27 quid, luckily it's bloody brilliant!

It lives in the same frequency range as wifi, you've got something like:

Channel A - WiFI channels 1-4
Channel B - WiFI channels 4-8

etc

You can select the 4 channels on the bottom of the sender & receiver. It's not encrypted or anything so anybody within range with a receiver could watch what you're watching!

Works with the Sky+ remote control as well. They often have them in offer in stores for £25 (or is it £23).

I bought my current one years ago, isn't even branded. I guess technology moves on so should be a vast improvement.

I'll shop round for it cheap :)

Finally sorted this out and it didn't cost a penny.

I remembered that I had s**t loads of coax from years ago, so I've coaxed half the house lol and I now have an interference free picture :)

Using the existing sender for the remote.
