average mileage

pls, whats average annual mileage these days? Ive a May 28 02 mk2 172, and its done 20,800 miles. I just wondered how that fares with whatever the average is.

I think the avarage is 12k but on some "special finance plans" they expect no more than 10k.

Mine is also a late may02 and has 26.5K on it. Though I ve done 20k of those in the last year!!!

mines March 02 and has done 19,800, been triyng to keep it below 20,000 for as long as possible...looks like by March this year my average will be just over 10,000 a year, thats quite low but not if you compare it to Girl Racer Im sure she must push her car every where!!

Ive got 58k miles on my 1993 Willy - average of 5,800 per year so far!

Thing is, I usually do more like 8k a year.

1996 N Valver 87,654 (saw that the other day - amused me...) about 10k a year thereabouts...

im the third owner of the car and was looking at the history - the original owner gave it to the second owner 2 1/2 years ago with 24k on it (I kid you not), second owner gave it to me with 78k on it and ive had it 6 months... thats 27k per year - f**k I wish I was the second owner

By the way it says on the V that my cars an import? Not stating the obvious (Obviously!), but what would that mean?

I did 8,000 miles last year on my bike, expect to do about 10k a year in the Clio, thats with two trips to the South of France a year, driving to Uni and back 5 days a week for 6mths, and driving to work once a week! Oh, and a couple of thousand for pleasure!!

Took mine for its second year service last week, when the guy was stamping the service book I looked at the mileage that was recorded at its service 12 months ago and its current mileage. It worked out to a few miles over 5000 in a year, which is quite a lot for me last year I only did about 4000. My works van did about 20,000 though, don’t really use my car at all in the week it only comes out Saturdays and Sundays.
