Avon ZV3 tyres

Car  GW 200T
Hi all i have a set of Avon ZV3 tyres on the front of my cup. 1 of the rear is a conti sport contact amd the other is a hero or something like that.
The plan is to get 2 new conti sport front tyres Thats all i can afford at the moment and put the Avons on the rear,

Just was woundering what ppl thougt on this as i have no idea about tyres if iam honist.

Can people let us know please

James

If it were me, I'd be putting the contis on the back and the Avons on the front.

Its a lot easier to catch an understeering FWD car than it is to catch an oversteering one! Just my opinion.

FWD hot hatches = Best on the back, worst on the front.

TBH I really dont rate the Avons, but in your situation I'd keep them on the front. Much rather have the better tyre on the back.

Out of interest what size tyres are you running?
But as others have said keep the best on the backs

I had a set on the 172...Not the greatest. Understeer central!!! Although looked good! Shiny sidewalls! :)

Had these near enough new fitted to my 172, not a bad tyre, but not in the same league as the Parada's
