Avon zv7

  318i e46, 323ti e36
Hi
As above has anyone ever used Avon zv7s. They are going on a rear wheel drive car but this seems to be the best forum going for getting decent info be it about clios or not! I saw the a wet grip rating and the relatively low price which seems too good to be true. Any reviews?

E46 318i tyres will be 225 40 18. Not got crazy power or anything but nice to have peace of mind if your giving it some now and then

Yeah I guess I'm after a tyre expert really. Obviously some might perform better from car to car but if a tyres s**t it's usually the case on any car lol

These are a great tyre. very good in the wet and nice and soft/sticky. They may wear down quickly on rwd but they are only £50. Maybe get a 35 as the sidewalls can be flexy.

Standard CS is michelin pilot sport 3, more pricey though. The Pirelli P zero was £80ish i think on camskill, they are a decent tyre.

I've just put a pair of these ZV7 tyres on our family wagon and I could see a direction indicator on the tyres.

Anyone know if they are non directional, google couldn't help.

RS3`S at £58.70 v ZV7 at £63,
A 318 wont even get either of them warm, no chance of lighting them up.

Yep, they don't have any directional markings on them.

Think this thread has been bumped up from some time ago. Did go with the zv7s in the end though and can vouch for them as pretty decent in the wet and dry and they have lasted a fair few miles. Would recommend for the price.
