FLAT OUT up the hill at 120!! YEHAAAAAAAA!!!!!

0-60 in 3.22. Top out about 127...Depends on Gearing. The 250's ar sub 3sec to 60 and will do ovr 140!!

Lap times on par with British GT's! :)

Got a chassis for sale which can easily be turned into a super kart. :D Was going to do the cadwell park race last year but one thing lead to another and we never went :(

What chassis? Cadwell was a funny one for us. finished 2nd. But was lucky. The Nationals i.e with no body work were faster. They are 15kg lighter. But lack the aero package so s**t down the strights...

Both the nat guys infront seized! Was in 4th until the 5th last lap. At Oulton and thruxton the opens are a good 2-3sec quicker! Even more in the toe!

FOOK! Neve watched to the end of te vid! EPIC seize at over 100!!! He was FLYIN too!!! No need to run it that lean if you leading. I'd be choking her at the every opportunity!

They where running a KZ1 Spec class i think. So we where going to run the BRM just to give long circuit a go. Might have been the gearbox GP plate thing. or the festival or something. Memory sucks :(

Possibly! I miss it so much...Problem with long circuit is its just 2 races and about 4hrs in between!! So alot of waitin around, esp if you have a s**t race.

owch! that is a bit of a gap. Longest i ever waited between a race was down in dunkeswell at mansels place, where they have an hour No racing on a sunday morning after your first heat.

how much is it to do this for a season?

looks like a silly amount of fun

when i was doing The BRDC stars championship. To be up the front and stay their. 15K.

Long circuit i have no idea. Engine's seize all the time. few 100 a rebuild so some weekends could cost you £1000 once entry tires fuel are all paid.

That looks awsome must cost a fair bit.

I wish id had got into some sort of racing wanted to race motocross but didnt have the money

Cost...ALOT!!! One of the main reasons we gave up!.

At the very begining in Cadets (JNR class) you could get off with spending 2k a yr. Local events.

But then you need to travel about to do the big championships...In 2001 i think we were doing the British championship, euro's, A plate, O plate, 5 Nations. The bill was over 100k! And thats just Karts! Sponsors or a backer is manditory and you can go to the top and be a semi good driver. Unfortuneately moneys the key! And my results were not justifyin it.

Long circuit is cheaper, but the inital outlay is alot 4-5k for a new F1/Anderson etc chassis, Engines are about 2k, tuning another 1k...But there is such a big difference in performance which makes it dodgy... Lots of cheating but then again we did it too...To a certain degree!

It's amazing fun and such a rush, but the cash now is just too much! Kids 17 turn up in daddy's Ferrari etc, massive motorhomes. it's like a mini F1.

PMSL! Last time i was out in our gx200...... i crashed and bent the axle!! fooook me that hurt, thought i had broke my elbow! and i was going at no speed in comparison!

I ran th old boy over a few times...I wasn't too popular. Another we issue is the weight off them and the compression...The old boy was over 50 when he was tryin to start me...He struggled! Need to be pretty fit to start them tbh!

Lawnmowers! ;)

Great for enduro's tho!!

My old man struggled to. Nearly killed him a few times over! he was coughing up blood and everything! Ive plowed into a wall at 70mph side on. only had a 4 inch cut on my leg! was epic LOL. Kart was a total right off tho. Magura brakes! FAIL A LOT!

Few people have lost there life...:( I've had a few big off's. BUT no broken bones and only a few grey cells lost lol!

My mate did superkarts back in the 90's, he had a career-ending smash in japan iirc.
...He said back injuries were quite common.

Thanks guys for posting this up here, the video is in fact mine on youtube, and it's using my camera, and my mates the driver..

Glad to see you're interested (:
