If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the car cover from?Tucked up for the winter now! Will get my backside into gear in the New Year and get the list above actioned!
Sure. Classic Additions. Around £200.If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the car cover from?
Why don't you just get a clear bra for the front? That way you don't have to respray the front each time you take the car out.
Will you ever sell it, @Ali ?
I used to work for a detailing company and they were qualified for xpel application, they have changed the film slightly now and it doesn't go dull like the old stuff, it may still do but it appears to be far better now, still with its self healing properties blahblahblah, ive seen it applied to various rather expensive cars and it's always looked brilliant as it's cut for the car specificallyBy clear bra I mean a clear wrap around the front of the car. Like http://www.xpel.com/ . I've never tried it myself, but I don't think it will look worse over time.
I thought it might been a standing joke yes ;-)
So you would recommend it then?I used to work for a detailing company and they were qualified for xpel application, they have changed the film slightly now and it doesn't go dull like the old stuff, it may still do but it appears to be far better now, still with its self healing properties blahblahblah, ive seen it applied to various rather expensive cars and it's always looked brilliant as it's cut for the car specifically

Definitely, it may be on the pricey side but it's fantastic stuff, especially now it's been tweaked slightly and has more resistance to the sun etcSo

It'd be worth doing but it depends what you think is worth spending on it, xpel you can get half bonnets done aswell, but a full bonnet and bumper and wings will probably cost the best part of a grand, the material itself is expensive as hell and it isn't actualy a wrap, it gets cut to size and laid onto the car, a think they were coming out with wrap around the edge stuff but tbf it's not really needed because of how close it will be to the edge anywayHow much is the film say too cover front bumper and wings.Having my bumper sprayed and considering its a common problem with chips etc.Could be worth doing?
That's more or less what it would have been from my old work, not a cheap processI got quoted 10.000 NOK for the job, which is roughly £ 1000. But this is Norway and prices are insane here. That includes the front and a full bonnet.
Fab looking cars, and bet the engine sounds and drives as mean as.... does the inside look like my phase 1 inside?
